H&M x Versace coming in November!

I am so excited that H&M's next collaboration will be with VERSACE!!

The collection will debut on 17th November this year (and be gone in 10 minutes) featuring "...iconic Versace pieces from iconic Versace moments," said Donatella Versace herself. A first, the collection will carry homeware (think what you already see in Versace lifestyle) on top of womenswear and menswear. She's so thrilled about the collaboration that she already wore one of the pieces to take her bow at the Versace mens fashion show, and designed a pre-spring collection that will be offered online in selected countries on 19th January, 2012!

Girls, start prepping for the battle...

Lady Gaga: The Edge of Glory

If I were Gaga I would be delighted about Donatella Versace's comment about Gaga wearing Gianni Versace in  "The Edge of Glory" music video:

“I am greatly honored that Lady Gaga chose to wear a Versace Vintage look throughout her ‘Edge of Glory’ video. I am a great fan of hers and I believe that my brother Gianni would have appreciated her talent. Like him, Lady Gaga is unafraid to push boundaries and she has created an original vocabulary by merging fashion, music, theatre and art. For me, this video represents a wonderful tribute to anyone who is unafraid to take chances.” - Donatella Versace

Her music video seems to be very much inspired by music videos in Eighties (hence Gianni Versace is probably the best choice of clothing). Much more toned down but still heavy on Gaga style. I like.

Roksanda Ilincic Resort 2012

Roksanda Ilincic's resort collection hits all my favourite style notes: block colours, drapery, maxi cut, volume. I love everything about every piece.
If this is the teaser to SS12's trends, I am going to be very very broke early next year.

Crazy About Crochet

I have been uncontrollably drawn to crochet this season. I spent half of my trip in Bali in crochet shops and spent a fortune "add to cart"-ing crochet items online. It all started with Dolce and Gabanna's ethereal Sicilian-esque black and white SS11 campaign featuring Maryna Linchuck, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Izabel Goulart. The lace, crochet, picnic prints spun off to such an infatuation with crochet that I have been stopping in every shop that carries crochet to fill my season's wardrobe with this tangled wonder.

Here is a tribute to crochet this season:

She's casted for multiple Hollywood blockbusters, she has Brad Pitt wrapped around her little finger, she has a child from almost every country in the world, the United Nations loves her.

Emma Watson Vogue US July '11

Emma has really grown up.
Her spread with Vogue US is the most mature and haute I've ever seen her.

Does this make you miss Harry Potter Emma? I don't and am loving every moment of her coming-of-age. Gorgeous.
